Amador Foothill Winery

California

, the most populous state of the United States, located on the Pacific coast of North America is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. The four largest cities are Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose and San Francisco. California is also the home of and wine producing regions such as Santa Barbara and Northern California's Wine Country.

Located in the picturesque foothills east of Sacramento with a spectacular view of the Sierras, Amador Foothill Winery produces classic vineyard-designated Zinfandel and is amongst the pioneers making Sangiovese in California. Owner-winemakers Katie Quinn and Ben Zeitman also make Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Syrah at this 8,000 case facility.

Since 1980, Amador Foothill Winery has produced wines with finesse, great balance, and value. It has been founded by Katie Quinn and Ben Zeitman. Katie's winemaking dream is that wines should be varietally true, tasting of their grape origins with a distinct use of oak for texture and complexity. The stunning fruit flavors of her white wines are balanced by brittle acidity, while the reds have concentrated fruit flavors backed with refined tannins. Stylistically, these are food-friendly wines that are inspired by her love for cooking.

Wines that they offer include are 2002 Semillon, 2004 Sauvignon Blanc, 2002 Ferrero Zinfandel, 2005 Rosato of Sangiovese, 2002 Syrah, 2004 Clockspring Zinfandel, 2001 Sangiovese Grand Reserve, 2002 Sangiovese Estate Bottled, 2004 Late Harvest Semillon and 2004 Esola Zinfandel. At Amador Foothill Winery they consider pairing wine with just the right dish can bring out the best characteristic of their wine.

Amador Foothill Winery are one of the best in the wine business and are aware that quality is not accidental but by high intention and perseverance and are devoted to follow it on any backgrounds.
