Deaver Vineyards

The Deaver mission vines were planted around 1853 by Ken Deaver's great grandfather John A. Davis. His son, Ken's grandfather, planted the Zinfandel a decade later. For years, the Deaver's old vine grapes were sold to home winemakers only. The first vintage of Deaver Vineyards Zinfandel was bottled under the label of Lakeshore in 1985. 

Deaver Vineyards has become recognized the world over for its velvety Zinfandels. The Tuscan-style climate of Amador County is also perfect for producing classic Sangiovese, Barbera, and rich Ports. Since then, Deaver Vineyards has become famous all over the world for its velvety Zinfandels. As a member of Deaver Wine Club, one will get Deaver wines for three or four times every year. Deliveries of the wines are scheduled such that the club members can enjoy new wines before general release.
 
At Deaver Vineyards, they support ones basic right to enjoy a steady supply of delicious Rhone-style wines not to mention a plenty of fine food and good cheer. To uphold this ideal, they created a fellowship for wine enthusiasts of all stripes. It is one of the best wineries in the California.
