Story Winery is located in the heart of the historic Mother Lode of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Their history is as fascinating as their wines many who came seeking their fortune in gold in 1849 remained to plant vineyards and orchards. Some of the oldest vineyards in California remain in Amador County's Shenandoah Valley. The vineyards at Story Winery date back to the early 1900's. These old vines produce fruit of intense flavor and complexity.
 
Story Winery produced many types of wines includes California Champagne, 2004 Chenin Blanc, 2005 Chardonnay, 2003 White Zinfandel, 2003 Merlot, 2003 Red Passion Zinfandel, 2002 Gold Hill Zinfandel, 2003 Creekside Zinfandel, 2003 Picnic Hill Zinfandel, 2004 Alitia Zinfandel, 2002 Winzerhof Zinfandel, 2002 Hilltop Zinfandel.
 
The 2003 Red Passion Zinfandel describes how they feel about their Zinfandels. From the vineyard to the bottle, it is a labor of love. This 100 percent Zinfandel is made from several of their favorite Zinfandel vineyards. The cherry and rasberry aromas invite you to savor their flavors as you swallow. Enjoy this wine with all your favorite meals or simply with your favorite chocolate. The 2003 Picnic Hill Zinfandel is their oldest and most prized vineyard. These vines were planted 100 years ago and produce a classic Amador County Zinfandel. Enjoy this 100 percent Zinfandel wine with your main dish or dessert.
