California is the most populous state of the United States. Located on the Pacific coast of North America, it is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. The name California is most commonly believed derived from a storied paradise peopled by black Amazons and ruled by Queen Califia.
 
Grand Terrace is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 11,626 at the 2000 census. Grand Terrace is strategically located between the cities of Riverside and San Bernardino. This community of 12,000 is known for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful neighborhoods, high performing schools, an active library and safe streets.
 
The city is nestled between two mountain ridges, Blue Mountain to the east and La Loma Hills to the west. Its motto, inscribed on the City flag is The Blue Mountain City, and is named for the Blue Lupine flower that grows on Blue Mountain in the spring. Grand terrace is also the home of the infamous MOG. According to the United States census bureau, the city has a total area of 9.0 square kilometers and it is all land.




Grand Terrace is also known as the city of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
