La Puente





California is the most populous state of the United States. Located on the Pacific coast of North America, it is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. The name California is most commonly believed derived from a storied paradise peopled by black Amazons and ruled by Queen Califia.

La Puente is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 41,063 inhabitants at the 2000 census. The city was incorporated on August 1, 1956. The motto of La Puente is Where the Past Meets the Future and the city flower is The Golden Hibiscus.

In 1769, the Gaspar de Portola expedition, along with Father Junipero Serra, built a bridge over the San Jose Creek. According to the United States census bureau, the city has a total area of 9.0 square kilometers and it is all land.

It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places. As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of California one of the most visited places amongst the most die-hard travelers the world over.
