Mill Valley is a city in Marin County, California, United States. The population was 13,600 at the 2000 census. It is about 4 miles north of San Francisco via the Golden Gate Bridge. In July of 2005, Money and Money magazine ranked Mill Valley tenth on its list of the 100 Best Places to live in the United States. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 12.5 square kilometers.  


The points of interest places include Muir Woods, Mount Tamalpais, and Edgewood Botanic Garden, Richardson Bay, Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, 2 AM Club.
