Murgent Corporation Helps Rocky Mountain Restarateurs

Matthew Johnson joins the mUrgent team and heads up the Denver, Colorado office with all email marketing clientele.

DENVER, CO – Feb. 28, 2006 --  Capitalizing on its momentum in restaurant online direct marketing, mUrgent Corporation, an international email marketing agency based on Southern California, has opened new offices in Denver, CO under the direction of Area Manager, Matthew Johnson, according to company CEO and president, Boris Bugarski.

“Denver, for example, is the fourth fastest growing restaurant market in the U.S., and the Rocky Mountain region’s online population is growing dramatically every year.  These are people who want immediately useful information, and permission-based email is the ideal way for dining hospitality providers to reach them,” says Johnson.

The Denver opening is mUrgent’s second domestic office, and allows Johnson to effectively engage restaurateurs in Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho, New Mexico and Wyoming in a dialogue about how to leverage the power of the internet to expand their market share of diners. Johnson will educate restaurateurs about the value of consistent and useful email contact with diners who have voluntarily provided their home or office email addresses, whether or not the restaurant has its own website.

Prior to joining mUrgent, Johnson created email marketing strategy for Baxa Corporation, the Colorado Historical Society and Green Chair Marketing. He has worked in advertising and marketing for the last 8 years assisting clients in print, television and online advertising. An active participant with the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association and the Business Marketing Association as well as volunteer communications director for River of Light Enterprises. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism.
