Lemon Grove is a city in San Diego County, California, United States. The population was 24,918 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.8 square kilometers and it is all land. It lies before a small lemon grove near the Orange Line Trolley Tracks. There is also a local urban legend that there is a construction worker that died during the building of the lemon entombed inside.
